Selangor cops to record statement from Peter Chong over pastor's abduction

PETALING JAYA - Selangor police will record a statement from former Petaling Jaya councillor Peter Chong regarding the abduction of Pastor Raymond Koh.

"We don't know if he can help in the investigation but we will record his statement in the near future. He has said before that he has information, so we have to check.

"The task force is still investigating the case so whatever clues and leads that come up, we will look into it. We have never stopped investigating," said Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Fadzil Ahmat.

Chong had reportedly claimed that he was abducted in Hatyai while there to meet a source for information on Koh's disappearance.

Koh was abducted from his car by a group of men in Jalan SS4B/10, Petaling Jaya, on Feb 13.

CCTV footage believed to be of the incident showed at least 15 men and three black SUVs involved in the abduction.
