Fast and furious Ferrari crash goes viral

KUCHING - The crash of one of Sarawak's costliest cars not only caused heavy traffic on the road where the accident happened but has also gone viral online.

In the accident, which occurred at about 10am Thursday, a Ferrari 458 crashed into the guardrail along Jalan Tabuan Court, a busy road linking the state capital's airport, residential and commercial districts.

The owner of the sports car, which is one of Ferrari's highest rated new vehicles, escaped unharmed, according to Fire and Rescue Department officers.

Traffic came to a crawl as other motorists slowed down to snap photographs of the wrecked million ringgit 570 horsepower vehicle, which were promptly uploaded to social media.

Many took to hashtagging the incident #KuchingFastAndFurious.
